Review: Bloodline

This is a novel by Maggie Shayne.

Book Blurb:

Lilith awakens cold, naked and alone, knowing nothing - not even who she is - except that she has to run, run for her life.because someone is after her.

When Ethan discovers the terrified woman hiding on his ranch, he knows immediately not only who she is, but what. He's never forgotten her, not in all the time since he escaped their joint prison, a clandestine CIA facility where humans are bred into vampires willing to kill on command. He refused to accept that fate, and since he won his freedom he's become a legend to those he left behind. With her own escape, Lilith has become a legend, too, and now - together - they have no choice but to fight those who would become a legend by killing one.

I enjoyed this book.

This was a fast paced, action filled book from the very first chapter. The story moved along at a steady pace and I was eager to find out what would happen next.

I would like to have a follow up novel with one of the secondary characters that came in right at the end of the book - she is fascinating. :) I won't say who she is because I don't want to spoil it for you - but I think you will recognize her when she appears. :)

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.

Sounds interesting! Is this book a stand alone or is it a part of a series?

I have just listened to this one and I do agree with you - some support cast came out really strong...

I love the past/present start that it had....

Donna,

This is one of her stand alone novels. :)

EH,

I liked that past/present portion of the book as well.

B,

The mystery person is not anyone famous. LOL I just didn't want to give too much away in the review. And I like being interested in more than just the main characters as well. :)

Mandi,

I agree. :)

Thanks for stopping by ladies. Have a great day.
