Passion Unleashed

This is the 3rd in the Demonica series by Larissa Ione and the story of Wraith and Serena.

Book Blurb:

FORBIDDEN TEMPTATIONS

Serena Kelley is an archaeologist and treasure hunter-and a woman with a secret. Since she was seven, she's been the keeper of a powerful charm that grants her health and immortality . . . as long as she stays a virgin. But Serena isn't all that innocent. And when a dangerously handsome stranger brings her to the brink of ecstasy, she wonders if she's finally met the one man she cannot resist.

FATAL DESIRES

Wraith is a Seminus demon with a death wish. But when an old enemy poisons him, he must find Serena and persuade her to give him the only known antidote in the universe-her charm. Yet, as she begins to surrender to his seductions and Wraith senses the cure is within his grasp, he realizes a horrible truth: He's falling for the woman whose life he must take in order to save his own.

I love this series - but this book, by far, has been my favorite.

I was amazed at the transformation of Wraith as the story progressed. :) Who would have thought that Wraith could become a kind, thoughtful individual? This is the brother that only thought of himself - doing whatever he wanted to do and damn the consequences, no matter who or what was harmed.

Serena is a perfect partner for Wraith. She is strong, stands up for herself and doesn't take any of Wraith's crap. :)

The twists and turns we face in this book are many - and some of them are 'wow' moments.

I give this book and the entire series 5 out of 5 stars. :)

Lea,

I love the concept of the books - and underground hospital for demons is just awesome. :)

I would love to have your help expanding this blog to three columns. I am so not computer savvy. I told my husband I needed one of those orange books - Blogging Beatification for Dummies. LOL

Cecile,

I know what you mean - so many books, so little time. And they keep putting more out. LOL This is a great series, full of steamy, sexy stuff too. :)

Donna,

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I don't think you will be disappointed in the other 2 books at all. :) I can't remember where I heard it - but I think Ms. Ione has the 4th book already planned - I can't wait for it. :)

Oh my, the Ione books! I have seen them around but not read them yet. The sounds yummy, and I haven't actually read a demon love story yet, I think it's about time I find out why they are the new best thing.

Blodeuedd,

You won't be disappointed. :) I love the world Ms. Ione has created. She still has the demons as demons - the good, the bad and the ugly (some really ugly - LOL) but somehow they are more than that and the story telling is very good.

Hi Michelle!

I know you won't believe this, but I have yet to read this series. Everyone's recommending it, so next time I see it, I'll pick it up.

Lea loves this series, and I keep meaning to try it. Sounds like it's time to go shopping!

Dottie,

It's a great series. I was hesitant to pick it up in the beginning - I read the back of the first book and thought - maybe not. But every time I would go to the book store it was looking at me. LOL So I grabbed it and I'm so glad I did. :)

I LOVED Wraith..and for some reason in the first two books I didn't like him so much.

This series is really great. Lore intrigues me..can not wait for next year :)

p.s. So glad I found your blog (or rather, you found me so I found you:) I'm having fun going though all your posts. We have a lot of the same tastes.
