Everybody makes mistakes—and my first one was named Connor, a heart-stealing Scottish hottie. I thought our night together was a beautiful beginning to love, which turned out to be my second mistake. I, Phoebe Allen, lifelong Broken Heart resident and vampire, am now mated to a freaking half-demon.
Connor needs me to retrieve the rest of an ancient talisman, and to stave off his vicious stepmother, an uber demon named Lilith. Thank goodness my four-year-old son, Danny, is off at Disneyworld with his human father. At least my son is safe and far away from all this paranormal drama. Me? Not so much. I’ll help Connor and his rag-tag group of friends because it’s the right thing to do—and not because I’m falling for any of Connor’s demon charm. Still, he’s willing to do anything to protect me and prevent demons from storming into Broken Heart. Dang it. My undead heart can’t resist a bad boy with identity issues…
