This is the 4th book in the Dragonfire series by Deborah Cooke.
Book Blurb:
For millennia, the shape-shifting dragon warriors known as the Pyr have commanded the four elements and guarded the earth's treasures. But now the final reckoning between the Pyr and the dreaded slayers is about to begin.
The mysterious Dragon's Blood Elixir gives immortality to Magnus, the Pyr's greatest enemy, and his minions - so it must be destroyed. Outcast from the Pyr because of his own dangerous impulses, Delaney will do anything to vanquish Magnus - and vows to complete a mission which will either redeem him or end his suffering.
But his plans don't take into account his sudden firestorm - or the hot-tempered Ginger Sinclair. The firestorm reforms Delaney closer to his old self. And when Ginger learns about Delaney's scheme, she cannot resist a strong man with a noble agenda.
Due out November 3, 2009.
I love this series. :)

Thanks for the heads up, Michelle. I love book covers that have winter scenes and or snow on them. You don't see them too often, I think.
I read the first book in this series and liked the series premise and even the romance--until the end. I thought the romance started out so strong but fizzled to nothing by the end of the book. But I do have book 2 on my TBR shelf. So I take it you'd encourage me to stick with it, huh?
I also read the first one and had similar feelings as Christine. And i have the second book in the TBR pile. I do love the covers! Especially this one with the wintry background.
Copy Cat. LOL!
Whew! *fans self* That's one smokin' hot cover!!
Thanks for the heads up Michelle!
;) VFG
Christine and Amy,
I agree with both of you. I've read the first 2 and have the 3rd on the tbr shelf. They do seem to lose some steam towards the end. But I have enjoyed both of the books. I hope to get to the 3rd one soon - I unearthed it from the back of the shelf when I straightened them the other day, I had forgotten I had it. :)
VFG,
I like this cover as well...but I don't think it ties in with the others.
Thanks for stopping by ladies.

Love this cover!!
I have read the first one in this series, which I really liked... but like Christine and Amy I thought something was definitley missing in the ending.
I guess I'm a copy cat too. ;P
Great cover! I haven't read this series yet. But have plans to.
Darn! Can't be a copy cat! ;)
