Mailbox Monday

Good Morning. :) I hope everyone had a great weekend and has an even better week ahead. Here are a couple of books I received from paperbackswap.

Book Blurb:

When the dragon came to claim him, Karl knew his great plan had gone horribly wrong. If he had known the creature was real, he wouldn’t have scoffed at the villagers… and he certainly wouldn’t have been so quick to let them chain him to a rock. Mattaen Initiates trained as warriors, but no man could defeat a dragon.

“My name is Elera, daughter of Shane. And you, Initiate, are my virgin prize.”

She had vanquished the beast and named her price: one night with the virgin sacrifice she’d saved. He’d taken a vow of chastity, but Karl still had a man’s needs—and Elera’s sultry curves made him ache to taste his first woman. With one scorching kiss she shattered his defenses… and led him into a world of deception and seduction, where he’d be forced to choose between the brotherhood that had raised him and the woman whose courage set his heart on fire.

And

Book Blurb:

When Emily Hamilton's family is ordered to send a woman to the Scottish highlands for marriage to the laird of the Sinclair, Emily volunteers in order to save her younger sister from such a fate. But at her new home, the only friend she finds is the laird's sister-especially after Emily's stubborn streak causes the laird to cancel the marriage. And though her plans have gone awry, she refuses to return home...

Lachlan Balmoral is laird of his clan-and leader of his pack. One of the most feared werewolves prowling the Highlands, he is on the march against the hated Sinclair, who have abducted a Balmoral woman. He kidnaps the sister of the Sinclair laird, planning to marry her off in revenge-but the woman he takes along with her proves to be the greater prize...

For Emily feeds a desire he has never known existed. And though Lachlan would not think of touching his enemy's betrothed, he must know how a mere woman could tame his heart so easily...

These seem a little different. :) Happy Reading.

The first one sounds great.

With the second one, I just want to know what on earth he's got on his feet/legs. Some kind of frilly socks? Also, if he wandered around shirtless over here, he'd get pretty cold pretty quickly. One of the perks of being a werewolf, perhaps?

I've read both of those. Can't wait to hear what you think of Moon Awakening.

B,

:)

Tamsyn,

You are welcome. I hope they are as good as the blurbs. :)

Patti,

How are you? I meant to comment on your post the other day about the decorations and the mardi gras prep. :) Then my puter crashed....

gyg,

I had to go back and look at the pic to see what in the world the man had on his feet. LOL It looks like knee high fur boots. :)

Anna,

I'm especially looking forward to the first one - such a change with the guy being the virgin sacrifice. :)

Have a lovely day.
