Friday Finds: The Onic Empire Series

Check out these little gems I found today...The Onic Empire series by Anitra Lynn McLeod.

Between duty and desire lies a season of pure pleasure...

Welcome to the world of the Harvester—a warrior bound to take virginity, but never pleasure—and the servant who exists to prepare him for his role. For them, sex equals duty. Until the rules fall aside...and pleasure takes over...

Sweet Release

For Chur, a year's preparation comes down to the single day on which he encounters a succession of exquisitely adorned young virgins. One thrust from Chur frees the women to find their perfect mates...yet he is forbidden to enjoy his work. But Chur's third Harvest changes everything, for the final virgin is none other than his paratanist, a loyal servant who reveals herself to be a startlingly sensuous woman. Enovese has desired her master since she first laid hands upon him, but her scheme to free them both is complicated by Chur's prideful resistance. Until the Harvester declares Enovese his bondmate, they must maintain a dangerous charade of master and slave. But Chur is determined that Enovese pay for her deception—with delicious, teasing torture all the more pleasurable for being taboo...

And Due Out May 1st

To be a Harvester is to exist with pain that should be pleasure and desire bound by duty. Until one who can spark a change meets the perfect mate. Now he needs only to convince her--one shattering climax at a time. . .

Rebellion

Harvester Sterlave of Gant knows his mission: initiate all the virgins of the season and choose a bondmate from among them. The one he selects is perfect, both physically and politically--she is, after all, the empress's daughter. Kasmiri, however, has other ideas. She wanted to be chosen by Sterlave's best friend, Chur, who instead rebelled by selecting a mere servant girl! Kasmiri knows she now must submit to Sterlave--although she doesn't have to like it. . .

But Kasmiri soon realizes she more than likes Sterlave's sensual attentions. A man like no other, Sterlave is a warrior who satisfies her deepest physical needs, even as he strives to win her heart. . .

Whew!! These sound steamy. :) Has anyone read them? Details please! :)

Have a wonderful weekend.

I think I judged the "Chur" story in an RWA contest a few years ago. Sounds awfully familiar. Nice to see it made it to publication!
