Personal Post - Senior Prom 2010!!

Okay - I know this is a book blog. LOL But I had to share this picture of our beautiful daughter, Breana and her prom date, Justin. Breana is a senior and will be graduating in May. I just can't believe she is all grown up. :)

Breana will be attending college in the fall, majoring in English with gifted certification. She will be teaching English/Creative Writing/Literature to high school students. :)

I would like to say that I am so very proud of the person she is - and thank the Lord everyday for allowing her (and her brother) to be a part of my life. I think her father and I have done an amazing job with our children - because they are amazing people. :)

Thank you for taking the time to read a mother's ramble....

Jackie,

Thank you. It is even more vibrate in person. :) My mother suggested having it shortened so that she can wear it again. I'm all for that - I hate the thought of her only getting one use out of it.

Michelle, your daughter is beautiful! And I know exactly what you mean... mine is 16... going on 22. And to watch them grow is a wonderful/scary/nervous/beautiful thing! And you are right, I thank God every day that He gave me my daughter!
Hope all is well!

Cecile,

Thank you. :) It amazes me that she is graduating - it seems like she was just born last year. LOL

Laurie,

Time surely does fly. It's like I blinked and she's grown. :)

B,

:) Thank you.

Ladies I will be sure to pass on your thoughts to Breana - she will be so thankful.

Have a wonderful week.

Hi Michelle!

Your daughter is so beautiful, so happy, she's shining, glowing. It's a good idea about shortening it, it would be great wear it again. I hope prom was a lot of fun, my daughter is a junior this year and it's her first prom, a week from this Saturday. But, my goodness, the controversy that went into her pre-prom experience. It was so traumatic, I'm writing a short story about it, lol, she has been encouraging me to do it. We'll see.

Dottie :)
