Mailbox Monday: Birthday Booty :)

Good morning everyone. :) I hope you all had a wonderful weekend - and for the Mom's, a fantastic Mother's Day. :)

This weeks Mailbox is about the lovely books I purchased with my birthday money/gift cards. The fam took me out over the weekend for a lovely lunch and shopping - and of course my favorite part was the book store. :) So here are the books I got for my birthday.

Storm Walker - Allyson James
Hunted by the Others - Jess Haines
Come Hell or High Water - Michele Bardsley
The S B Tales of Miss Percy P - Leanna R. Hieber
Running Scared - Shannon K Butcher
Dead in the Family - Charlaine Harris
Scythe - MK Mancos
Succubus Shadows - Richelle Mead
Black Blade Blues - J A Pitts
Feed - Mira Grant
Happy Hour of the Damned - Mark Henry
Road Trip of the Living Dead - Mark Henry
Battle of the Network Zombies - Mark Henry
Crux - Moira Rogers
Frost Moon - Anthony Francis
Song of Scarabaeus - Sara Creasy
A Local Habitation - Seanan McGuire
The Sweet Scent of Blood - Suzanne McLeod

I am so excited. My family and friends know exactly what I want for any occasion. :)

Hi Michelle!

What a great haul! Woo hoo, I love book shopping! OMG...You have to read Leanne Renee Hieber...Strangely Beautiful was fantastic and Darkly Luminous is awesome too. (if you can tell, I'm a fangirl of Leanne's! Gothic historical urban fantasy romance... squee!) Hope you enjoy your reading!!

Dottie,

I have Darkly Luminous on the shelf and needed the first one first. LOL So now I have both. I have heard a lot of great things about these books. :)

Sabrina,

I agree. Books are the best presents. My family thinks I am the easiest to buy for because you can pick up a B&N gift card just about anywhere. LOL

Have a wonderful day ladies.

B,

We did have a blast. :) I just love the bookstore - and we really only get to go a couple of times a year because it's about a 90 minute drive. :)

I noticed you are currently reading Dragon Actually by G.A. Aiken--I LOVED that book and can't wait for her next one. September seems very, very far away. :(

I've also got about half your booty list in my TBR pile so I'll have to come back and compare notes. :)

Laurie,

I love my birthday and Christmas - those are my two big book shopping trips. LOL

Renee Marie,

I can't wait to read the Mead book - I just love Georgina.

Bella,

You are absolutely right. :) I will take books over jewelry or shoes or bags etc. - any day. :)
I have a wonderful Hubby who knows me very well.

Anna,

:)

ALM,

My TBR shelf is over 200 strong - and growing. LOL I don't know how long it will take me to read them all - but I will read them. :) And you are welcome to stop by anytime.
