Review: Scythe

Scythe is a Paranormal Romance by MK Mancos from Samhain Publishing.

Scythe was an okay read. :)

Keely Montgomery is working her way through college. She has no time for anything outside of work and school. When she is offered a job as a Scythe - she immediately turns it down - but Heaven does not often take 'no' for an answer.

Detective Josiah Adler does not know what to think when he sees a couple of hooded individuals standing over a dead body in the alley. And what was that shiny blade the smaller of the two was holding? Determined to find out if these two have anything to do with the recent string of murders - Josiah sets out to find out who they are.

Scythe is another whodunnit with paranormal elements.

I love the concept of Scythe's and Reapers and a whole host of corporate employees in Heaven. :) That being said, Scythe did not meet my expectations. I found myself wanting more of Keely's story and less of Josiah.

I think my problem was that I wanted the Scythe 'business' to be the prominent story and to me it seemed to be overshadowed by the 'police business'.

I give Scythe 3 out of 5 stars. :)
