Georgina Kincaid has been a succubus for thousands of years and it is her job as an employee of Hell to sleep with men (or women) of virtue and take a part of their life force from them - shortening their lives and darkening their soul.
Over the years Georgina's job has lost some of its original appeal and she would rather sleep with people who are already destined for Hell. But as a succubus, Georgina relies on the energy she takes from her victims - she needs it to stay 'healthy' - and victims who are already tainted by Hell don't offer the same energy boost as the virtuous.
What is a girl to do? Surrounded by a group of friends that include vampires, demons, half-demons and even an angel - Georgina does the best she can with what she has been given.
I love this series.
I give Succubus Shadows 4 out of 5 stars and can't wait for the next installment.

This is one of my favorite series. Enjoyed this last one too. I was very happy over a certain event that
happened in this book... but won't spoil it. ;)

Well, I wouldn't classify them as friends - exactly. LOL He does pop in every now and again - which is odd considering the rest of the group are demons, vamps and such. LOL But it makes for an interesting get together to say the least. :)

*LOVED* this installment. It felt like, in this book, Georgina was given a bit of a break. In previous books she has been put through the emotional ringer - and to an extent she was again in this book - but there was a happy pay-off toward the end.
LOVE this series. Ms. Mead can do no wrong IMO.
I love this series and am sad the next book is the last. I enjoyed this book and was happy to get a glimpse into Georgina's past and also to see how much she means to her "crew".
