Do you use a rating system for your reviews and if so, what is it and why?

Yes I do. My system is a stars - with 5 stars being an amazing read and working backwards from there. I use this system as a tool to express my own opinion of the book I am reviewing. :) It is the same as the system used by Shelfari and Goodreads.

I love rating systems because sometimes I just want to know a book I've picked up but not read yet is good so I'll skim the review (usually until a later date, I try to come back to them) and check how many stars (or whatever else) the book gets.
