Review: Eternal Hunger by Laura Wright

Eternal Hunger is the first book in the Roman Brothers trilogy by Laura Wright and a Signet Eclipse Paranormal Romance.

Book Blurb:

Alexander Roman wants nothing to do with the controlling rulers of his vampire breed or the family he escaped from a hundred years ago.  But as a new threat to the pureblood vampires emerges, Alexander's ties to the past are forced upon him again, and without warning, he finds himself - disoriented, terrified, and near death - at the door of a stranger.

Fear Is In The Blood

Dr. Sara Donohue is dedicated to removing the traumatic memories of her patients - like those of the stranger at her front door.  But what he tells her of his past is too astonishing to believe.  Yet she has seen his flesh scarred by the sun and witnessed his inhuman strength.  And never before has she felt so connected to a man...

Love Is Eternal

But as their worlds collide, Sara and Alexander are bound by something stronger, as one becomes hunter and the other prey...

My thoughts:

I absolutely loved Eternal Hunger.  :)

Alexander Roman is the eldest of three brothers who escaped their abusive childhood vampire community and found peace living among humans - and off the radar of The Order - the governing body of the vampires.

When the unthinkable happens to Alex he reluctantly seeks council from The Order, only to be told that they require his help - and if he does not offer this help willingly - and succeed in the task they have set upon him in a timely manner - then the same fate that has befallen him - will fall upon his brothers.

Sara Donohue has spent her entire life trying to make up for an accident that happened when she was a child - an accident that resulted in the death of a loved one and the permanent mental and physical scarring of another.

Sara's world is turned upside down when she finds Alex huddled on her door step.  At first she is wary - but then her doctors instincts take over and all she sees is a man in need.  But the more she gets to know Alex, the more Sara realizes that she has needs as well - and Alex is the only one who can satisfy those needs.

I enjoyed Eternal Hunger very much and can't wait to read the rest of this trilogy.  I am particularly looking forward to Lucian's story - because he is the 'bad boy' brother.  :)

I give Eternal Hunger 5 out of 5 stars.
