My thoughts:
Michael Taylor is a GTECH Super Soldier - a human who has had his own DNA altered by the injection of alien DNA into his body. He and the soldiers like him, are stronger, faster, harder to kill than a human soldier. The injection of the alien DNA has given them abilities beyond belief.
But now the alien DNA is mutating in some of the soldiers - making it harder for them to acknowledge right from wrong - making them more aggressive and hostile.
Cassandra Powell is the daughter of the scientist who is responsible for injecting the soldiers in the first place. He did so under false pretenses - and with no clear knowledge of what would happen to the soldiers. Basically, they were his lab rats.
Now Cassandra has been brought in to find out what has caused the mutation and find a way to reverse it before it happens to the rest of the soldiers.
But for one soldier it is too late - he has decided to turn his back on his brothers in arms - and set himself up as the new King of the World - and it is up to Michael and Cassandra stop him.
The Legend of Michael is the first book I have read by Lisa Renee Jones and it is an okay read.
I give The Legend of Michael 2 out of 5 stars.
