Succubus Revealed is the sixth and final installment in the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead and a Kensington Fiction.
Book Blurb:
Georgina Kincaid has had an eternity to figure out the opposite sex, but sometimes they still surprise her. Take Seth Mortensen. The man has risked his soul to become Georgina's boyfriend. Still, with Lucifer for a boss, Georgina can't just hang up her killer heels and settle down to domestic bliss. In fact, she's being forced to transfer operations...to Las Vegas.
The City of Sin is a dream gig for a succubus, but Georgina's allies are suspicious. Why are the powers-that-be so eager to get her away from Seattle - and from Seth? Georgina is one of Hell's most valuable assets, but if there's any way out of the succubus business she plans to take it - no matter how much roadkill she leaves behind. She just hopes the casualties won't include the one man she's risking everything for...
My thoughts:
Georgina Kincaid has had her fair share of ups and downs. No succubus pun intended - well, maybe a little. But now she has found ‘the one’. The one man she is willing to settle down with - as much as possible for a succubus in the employment of Hell.
Seth Mortensen knows all about Georgina’s job - has met her co-workers and even her boss, is on good terms with her immortal friends and is suffering through restricted sex in the hopes of preventing the automatic succubus drain from knocking off too much of his life. All in all, he’s a pretty good guy.
Georgina and Seth are in love.
Just as things on the romantic front are looking great, other aspects of Georgina and Seth’s life are taking a turn for the worse. One or two of these things could be construed as coincidence - but when you add them all together - they begin to look like a plan.
A plan to keep Georgina and Seth apart.
When Roman begins to take a closer look at things he realizes that Hell has a hand in what is going on - and if Hell is determined to separate Georgina and Seth - Roman is twice as determined to find out why.
Succubus Revealed is a nice ending to a pretty good series. I am happy with how everything was wrapped up.
Well almost everything.
There is still some question as to what happened to Roman. I would love to see a spin-off featuring him. :)
I give Succubus Revealed 4 out of 5 stars.
