This is an ARC of the new YA book Strange Angels by Lili St. Crow.
Book Blurb:
Dru Anderson has what her grandmother called 'the touch.' (Comes in handy when you're traveling from town to town with your dad, hunting ghosts, suckers, wulfen, and the occasional zombie.)
Then her dad turns up dead - but still walking - and Dru knows she's next. Even worse, she's got two guys hungry for her affections, and they're not about to let the fiercely independent Dru go it alone. Will Dru discover just how special she really is before coming face-to-fang with whatever - or whoever - is hunting her?
I absolutely loved this book - so much so that I devoured it in one day. :)
Dru is tough as nails - but she's still only a kid. A kid facing all the bad, nasty stuff that goes bump in the night. Stuff that normal folks just don't see - or want to see for that matter.
Accustomed to being her Dad's side kick, Dru feels confident that she can handle anything that comes her way - that is until things start coming her way and she's left to face them on her own.
But then Dru picks up a side kick of her own - in the form of Goth boy Graves. Graves is a norm - has no idea about the nasties that lurk around the corners and hide in the shadows. But Graves learns quick - out of necessity - and once he's involved there is no turning back.
Enter Christophe. Dru is not sure exactly what he is - or if she can trust him. But he seems like he's on her side - or at least the enemy of her enemy.
I can't wait for the next installment of this series - due out in November of this year.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

Hi Michelle!
Wasn't this good! Lili St. Crow was a new author for me, and I can't wait for the second installment as well. I loved her characters and the storyline. Glad you enjoyed it too.
Dottie :)
(I caught the cover art for Betrayal over at SciFiGuy, cool that you were able to located it.)
Dottie,
I have read Lilith Saint Crow before - both her Dante Valentine series and the Jill Kismet series - but I have to say I liked this YA series better. :) I'm glad you enjoyed it as well.
And it is cool what Doug did over at scifiguy - LOL - but then Literary Escapism picked it up as well - so my blog has been mentioned on 2 other well known blogs. I'm very excited. :)
