Succubus Heat

This is the 4th book in the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead.

Book Blurb:

Georgina Kincaid has been a bad, bad succubus...which should be a good thing. But lately, thanks to her foul mood over breaking up with bestselling writer Seth Mortensen, she's been so wicked that Seattle's uber-demon Jerome, decides to 'outsource' Georgina to a rival - and have her spy for him in the process.

Being exiled to the frozen north - okay, Vancouver - and leaving Seth in the cozy clutches of his new girlfriend is unpleasant enough. Then Jerome is kidnapped, and all immortals under his control mysteriously lose their powers. One bright spot: with her life-sucking ability gone, there's nothing to keep Georgina from getting down and dirty with Seth - nothing apart from his girlfriend that is.

Now, as the supernatural population starts turning on itself, a newly mortal Georgina must rescue her boss and figure out who's been playing them - or all hell will break loose.

This is one of my all time favorite series. :)

Georgina is a succubus, a minion from hell - bent on taking the life energy of good people for her survival. But all that being said, I like her. LOL

Ms. Mead has created a wonderful character in Georgina Kincaid. I honestly feel invested in her life and I want Georgina to have her 'happily ever after'. But I don't know how that is going to happen - when she's surrounded by demons, vampires, angels and imps on a daily basis?

I can't wait for the next installment in the life of Georgina. :)

I give this book and the entire series 5 out of 5 stars. If you haven't tried this series, I urge you to pick it up soon - you won't be disappointed.

Good Morning Michelle:

I have the first 3 books in this series in my stacks. Through your and Anna's urging, I must get to it this summer. ;)

I actually won the third book in the series at Anna's blog. The series does sound so good.

Thanks for sharing

I totally agree. It's also one of my favorite series and this last book was really the best. I hope Georgina gets her happy ending.

Hmmm.... I might have to check these out. I've seen the covers on Amazon before but I never really taken a closer look. I'm off to remedy that.

Thanks for the recommendation!

Anna,

I agree, this was a great story line. Half way through I was shaking my head - thinking, no don't let it be.....but it was. LOL

Lea,

I hope you can get to them this summer. :) I have enjoyed every one of them. :) This last one was the best though. Well....maybe it tied with the first one, and the second, and the third. LOL

SusiSunshine,

I am so curious to see how this turns out. I don't want the series to end...so it can't happen too soon - but I want it to happen.

B,

I know you like the humor in books as much as I do (still haven't gotten #15 yet - it's on it's way) and these do have some humor. Not as much as the Stephanie books - but then, who can compare to Stephanie?

VFG,

I always suggest starting with the first book. I used to have a horrible habit - if I found out about a new series I would go and buy all the books in that series without reading a one. Grrr, I can't tell you how many times I was stuck with a few books that weren't so nifty. LOL So now I just buy the first in the series and then go from there. :)

Thanks for stopping by ladies.
