New Book Covers & Promo

This is the cover and blurb for the 5th installment of the Morgan Kingsley series by Jenna Black. Due out March of 2010.

Book Blurb:

No one ever wants to serve in Hell...The Seven Deadlies, a demon club in Philadelphia, has always catered to the most attractive and desirable hosts. Recently, though, more and more of the lower dregs of society have been showing up with demons of their own - in alarming numbers.

Morgan is sure that Dougal is behind this, but isn't sure why. Is Dougal building an army to snatch the throne of the demons from Lugh? If there's one person who can get to the bottom of this, it's Morgan Kingsley, but caught between her mortal lover Brian and the demon she lusts for, Lugh, it's going to take everything she has to keep her head - and heart - in the game.

And I also saw this cover Ms. Black posted - she is another author jumping into the YA genre. Here is a sneak peak at her YA debut Glimmerglass - due out August of 2010. Blurb forthcoming.

B,

I think the 2nd one is supposed to be the same girl...but it looks like 2 girls are about to kiss. :) I can't wait for the blurb to find out exactly what Glimmerglass is all about.

Donna,

I almost stopped with the first book. LOL I think I may be the only female in our blog hood that does not love m/m. The first book in this series has a lot - but the rest of them are a little more toned down. :)

gyg,

I enjoy this series as well. I still can't figure out if Lugh is a bad guy or a really bad guy. LOL

Have a wonderful weekend ladies.

Ooo, I didn't realize there was m/m in the books. I've never seen that mentioned anywhere. Is it done JR Ward style or more graphic?

I'm not much into m/m myself so don't feel alone in your corner of the world. :)

Donna,

It's a bit more graphic cause the fella's are also in to the BD/SM thing - but that is only mentioned in the telling of what is hanging on the walls and such - the book does not go into graphic detail about that. But the encounters themselves are a little more graphic than J R Ward - I can handle Ward fairly well. :) I liken the first book in this series to the only Emma Holly book I've ever read. LOL

Did they change the cover for Devil's Playground or is this a foreign version? At least, this doesn't look like the cover on Jenna's page.

Jackie - those are definitely the UK ones, because they're what I've got. And a post from Jenna on the Deadline Dames the other day makes it seem like the US ones are different - so, yes, I think it's just a foreign one.
*loves the UK covers*
