My Week in Review: 12/1/18-12/8/18

I am super excited about this weeks books because it is one of my all time favorite genre's and I was so lucky to have new releases in a couple of my favorite series.  :)  Can you guess this weeks theme?  :)

This weeks theme: Zombies

Zombie Road V by David A. Simpson - 5 Stars *****

Book 5 in the Zombie Road Series.

The beautiful saga about surviving the zombie apocalypse that David Simpson created continues. This book focuses on the relationship between Jessie, The Disfigured Road Angel, and Scarlet, the daughter of the high priest of the Anubis cult. They are both damaged, young and have to bear a heavy burden for their age. Both have powers beyond human capacity. Both are the children and heirs to their fathers legacy and empires and they should be mortal enemies, not kinda sorta like each other...

Exodus by Adrienne Lecter - 5 Stars *****

They are here to find the cure—in a secret laboratory hidden underneath a metropolis overrun by zombies. What could possibly go wrong?

Finding the French Resistance was only the first step in achieving their mission. With impossible odds looming ahead, Bree is forced to bury the hatchet and work with Bucky Hamilton and his men to get to their destination—a secret underground lab previously part of the serum project that might just hold the most valuable thing on earth: a cure for the zombie virus.

Too bad that it’s located in Paris, a city that had a population ranging in the millions before the apocalypse happened—and as they are to find out soon, things went down very different in Europe from what they have gotten used to in the States.

Can they find the cure—and can they even get to where it might be stored? And, more importantly—is the cure the actual reason Hamilton was sent to breach that lab? Time will tell—if they don’t run out of people first.

The Infected: NightFall by Joseph Zuko - 5 Stars *****

Jim and Karen Blackmore have discovered that when it comes to the zombie apocalypse, there is no such thing as safety in numbers.

Between their separate groups of survivors is a city of the living dead, hungry for flesh and growing in numbers by the minute. As Jim and his newly minted gang of zombie killers fight their way to his family, Karen fortifies her hideout and prepares for an emergency escape she knows is inevitable.

As night falls, and their chances of seeing the dawn seem impossible, Jim and Karen's only wish is to reunite as the end of the world begins.

Fight by Gillian Zane - 4 Stars ****

The zombie apocalypse was Alexis Winter's first challenge. It won't be her last.

Life on S-Island hasn’t been easy, but Alexis and her fellow survivors are making the best of their new lives in a post-Z world. Every day is a struggle, a struggle to find food, to keep the zombies from their door and to prepare for anything this new world might throw at them. There is no room for heartache, there is no room for mourning the lost, there is only one focus: the fight for survival.

And there is definitely no room for love. At least that is what Alexis keeps telling herself.

The Renegades: Fortress by Jack Hunt - 4 Stars ****

After tackling vicious city gangs, hordes of the undead and escaping Salt Lake City, this daring band of misfits are forever changed. But the nightmare of this apocalypse is not over. Torn apart as a group, but having gained new allies, they must now battle for survival as they head to NORAD.

But when they stumble on a group who offer safety within a fortress, and another that seeks to kill, one hasty decision may destroy them all.

Woo-Hoo, Zombies!  I know, I know.  LOL

I hope you are reading something great.

As always, thanks for stopping by.
