This is the 6th book in the 'Nightcreature' series by Lori Handeland and the story of Anne and John.
Anne Lockheart is a PI from Philly and she has spent the last 3 years tracking leads on her missing sister, without much success - it's as if her sister fell off the face of the earth. That is until one day Anne receives an envelope with a picture of her sister standing in front of a jazz bar in New Orleans, the Rising Moon. Anne throws a few things into a bag and heads to the airport.
John Rudolfo bought Rising Moon about 6 months ago and when Anne shows the picture of her sister to the bartender she gets no recognition at all. Frustrated and with no place to turn Anne heads to the police dept, where she meets Det. Sullivan.
Det. Sullivan tells Anne that there has been a rise in missing persons over the last year and the one thing they have in common is that they were last seen at Rising Moon.
Anne decides to take a job a Rising Moon, hoping that she will be able to pick up clues to the missing persons and maybe find her own sister as well.
This was a good book, moved fairly quickly and kept me wondering what was gonna happen next. I can't wait to read the rest of Ms. Handeland's books. :)
I give this book a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

I love this series. My favorite ones are the stories that take place in New Orleans
I can't wait until Christmas - these are certainly on my 'must have' list. :)
